Sir Herman Ouseley feels strongly about the injustices that are embedded in our society and has spent a lifetime trying to combat them.

He has done so not through gesture politics or radical action, but through the dogged processes of the committee, the commission, the tribunal – the staid, solidly bureaucratic approach that can so infuriate the social revolutionary. It is his passionate belief that everyone has a right to be treated equally and fairly.
